Dr. Anne and Ines visit PGC!

Dr. Anne Plessis and Ines Pires, scientists from Dr. Michael Purugganan's Laboratory in New York University's Department of Biology, went to visit to the Philippine Genome Center last Thursday, July 11, 2013. During their visit they went around the two PGC Core Facilities, gave their valuable advice on the operations of a genome center and suggestions on PGC's on-going projects, and presented some of their own projects in collaboration with the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) such as genome wide association studies for salt tolerance and gene expression studies between lowland and upland rice.
